COVID-19 has had a profound impact on the global mobility of students all around the world. But what was the real impact of COVID-19 on international students’ application decisions? 

BridgeU conducted a survey to see how COVID-19 will really impact international student enrolments in 2020 & 2021. The survey audience combined 854 2020 graduates from secondary schools from across 83 countries, with a smaller sample of counselors from across 41 countries. They were asked how, and to what extent, COVID-19 has affected their university study plans in 2020.

BridgeU wanted to publish their findings but with a bigger visual impact. The survey was designed to analyse how COVID-19 was affecting student’s decision making and to compare BridgeU students’ application trends against existing commentary & analysis in the international higher education sector.
